What We Do
We work year-round to strengthen the LGBTQ+ community by promoting safe spaces, education, comprehensive care, cultural activities and political advocacy. Here are some of our main courses of action and key objectives.

Safe Spaces and Support Network
Virtual and in-person gatherings to build and strengthen community connections.
Educational, Cultural and Healthcare Activities
Workshops, conferences, radio programs and campaigns focused on improving the well-being of the LGBTQ+ population.
Training and Prevention
We promote gender equity, human rights and prevent discrimination through educational courses.
Accompaniment and Orientation
We offer information and legal, psychological and comprehensive care orientation.
Network of Allies
We search to cooperate with institutions, organisations and other entities that share our passion for social justice and the defense of human rights.
Pride March
The streets of San Miguel de Allende come alive with color and joy during Pride March–an event that brings together hundreds of participants, including LGBTQ+ community members, allies, local organizations, visitors from other municipalities and states.
Radio Program
n 2024, we launched Caleidoscopio de Colores, a radio show on Radio Social 92.1 FM. Airing every Friday at 3 p.m., the program shares key updates, stories and information relevant to the LGBTQ+ community.
Human Rights Promotion
We design and implement educational projects, awareness campaigns, and public space initiatives to promote gender equity, uphold human rights, and prevent discrimination.
Art and creativity
We promote activities that explore identity and queer visibility through art. By nurturing creativity and fostering both personal and collective empowerment, we create unique opportunities for connection and growth within our community.

El Triunfo
El Triunfo is a COSMA production (directed by Kristof Persyn) and part of our artistic initiatives for memory, pride, and human rights.
Through a staging, this work, presented in March 2025 in San Miguel de Allende, recovers the memory of those who, despite confinement and violence, transformed their existence into an act of dignity and defiance.
Meeting spaces
We provide in-person and virtual spaces where the LGBT+ community can meet freely, connect, and build proposals for change. Whether to discuss activism initiatives, barter and exchange, explore artistic creativity, or simply share experiences, these gatherings become a driving force for mutual support and learning.
Community alliances
Our work would be impossible without the support of allies who believe in defending LGBT+ rights. An example of this is the fundraising parties and events where music, culture, and solidarity are shared, with the funds used to cover logistics, materials, and key projects for the Collective.
